DT Marleen - "Sarah Collenction" - Scrappage

Hi everyone..

I havent been active for a quite some time on the DT for
Dragons Lair Design but the other day I decided it was time to have a play again.

For today Ive used the "Sarah" Collection.
You can find it in the STORE with all the other digital goodies.

Ive made yet another A4 scrappage. I just love making these. As they are smaller then my usual 12x12 LO's, I  often find them much quicker to do. Something I really love.

Apart from the green doily, the gems and my backing A4 sheet everything else on the page is from the kit.

And that is all from me for today. I hope you like what Ive made.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Marleen DT - Guitars

Hey blogger friends..

Its my turn to share some inspiration.

For this month, Ive used the the "Sarah" papers and the "Guitars" image.

For this project, I covered my card blank with a sheet from the "Sarah" collection matted onto black card stock. I printed my image onto water colour paper, coloured with distress markers and distress pads and matted it onto black card stock as well. I then diecut my stars and lay them between the layers. I finished it off with a greeting, a few gems and a coat of mica powder.

And that is all from me for today.

Hello everyone and thank you for popping by..

I have a card to show today that I have made for

Its not often I get the time to sit down and simply just play. I mean, making projects that dont follow a theme or a set of instructions or guidelines. So making my inspiration pieces for The Dragons Den, is always a pleasure.

I chose to make a male card. In my husbands family, several of the boys, plays the guitar, so it was with this in mind, that I made my card.

Ive used the image called "Guitar"
and papers from the "Sarah" collection.

Matting and layering.
Die cut stars.
Gems & greeting.
Image is printed on watercolour card and coloured with distress markers then coated with mice powder to give a gentle sheen.

And that is all for today.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

Marleen DT - Vintage style

Morning ya all..

Its my turn today to share a bit of inspiration.

For this month I have gone back to my favorite style, Vintage.
I have used a selection of goodies from the store for this proejct, but I love how they all mix & match.

I have used:

I really like this project. It was a simple matter of layering the elements on top of my back ground paper. I simple printed and cut out and then backed on to black card stock and cut out again leaving a border.
I added a a strip of washi tape behind the elements to really make then pop ouu and to tie the black border together.
The vintage clock is on my favorite list of SDD images. On this project I decided not to colour the image in, but to give it a bit more interest, I covered it in double sided sticky sheet, cut it out with my circle die, then covered it in distress glitter.

And that is it from em for today. I hope you like what I have made.

Marleen DT.

Morning blogger friends..

Today is the last day of school for my childeren.. I cant believe another school year is already over..
Soon it will be a new school year starting, then into halloween and then.. do I dare say it lol... Christmas..

But I guess today, for the last time in 2 months will I do my school run to get my children..
It does however mean (and im by no means complaining lol) that I will get more crafting time..

My kids are all really crafty. They all love sitting down with me and make cards or paint and living in Ireland, we have plenty of rainy days where the outside is a no no.

The card I want to show today is for Stamping Dragon Design.
Funny enough, when I made this a few weeks ago, my youngest Abbie (she is nearly 4) sat down and wanted to make a card just like mine.

I had printed of all the toppers from the set called "Emphera Journal Card Kit One" but as I was making my card, I still had left overs, so I gave Abbie the rest and she made a card like mine. Sadly I never got a picture of it before she gave it to her Auntie so Im affraid mine will have to do lol..

For this card I simply covered a card blank with black cardstock. Then my toppers out and added on top, but with little gaps inbetween them.

I then took a mask with cogs, lay it over my card and added some distress ink.
Last I added the bike (a die), the sentiment and button.

I hope you like what I have made.

April Inspiration by Marleen

Hi Dragon fans..

Its my turn to share a bit of inspiration here on the
Dragons Den..

For this months project I have used the
Father Hood papers

To make this card I used my Circle Dies. I simply folded an A4 sheet in half and added my dies on top yet leaving the die over the fold a little bit. When I then cut my patterned papers I just cut the full circle and added on top. THat way from the front the card looks fully circular yet still folds..

And that is it from me.. I hope you like what Ive made.

Inspiration post + FREEBIE...

Morning everyone..

Marleen here with my monthly inspiration post.
Once a month I will grab an image from the Stamping Dragon Design STORE and make a project to share with you.

This month's post is a little bit extra special as I have gotten our designer Janette to make you all a freebie as well..
Scroll down in order to grab the shamrock freebie,

Here is what I have made with this freebie.

For this card I used the "Simple man" papers.
I printed the one of the sheets from the paper pack and put it back in the printer.
I then printed the shamrock out on the sheet, cut it out, added glue around the edges and sprinkled green glitter over the glue. While the shamrock was drying I got on with the rest of my card.

Printing another sheet from the paper pack, I covered my card blank and added faux stiches.
I also printed the little dragon from the "Ruperts st Paddy day" pack and coloured him in.

Once all was coloured and dry I simply layered the images on top of each other with pinflair and voila.

 Shamrock FREEBIE.. Scroll Down..

And here you go..  From Stamping Dragon Design to YOU..
Have fun.

Please note this freebie is for personal use ONLY.

And that is it from me today.. I hope you like what I have made.
