Its Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday over at the Stamping Ground and i have to say i am rather shame faced over mine at the min Hmmmmm HOW did it ever get like this ? No wonder i am not making anything lol .....

How on earth am i supost to create anything on here, well i have been working on my rubbish pile finds, you can see them there the spice rack in the bottom pic is all finished just doesnt have a home, and the magazine rack still needs finishing but you can see what i intend to use it for my megre supply of 12 x 12 paper, much better than just layed on a shelf ion a pile, made it hard to find anything too  :)

Must try and make some sense of it this week me thinks :)

WOYW Can you belive it

I started actually making cards in early 2010 and i remember saying at the time, i will not go over board i am only going to give it a go, after all i make the stamps i ought to understand it all, but that does not mean i will become addicted ..

Like RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!

This is what i started with back then, a small case of a few essentials

Today i found the photo above and thought wow what was i saying just look at my work area now, i take up one whole side of the kitchen workspace and have drawers and srawers full of stash, what can i say other than If like me you just want to have a go but will not be buying all those papers and getting carrioed away ....

BE WARNED THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS :)

Can you Belive it .............

Can you belive that i only started card making as a hobby in March 2010 with my little stash of goodies all thanks to Sam MAy nattering at me to give it a go lol as you can see i had a small case of basics that i played with, and i swore it would stay that way i wasnt going to get hooked not me !!!!!

and now look its January 2011 and the small stash that was staying that way has now grown to half the kitchen worktop, complete with drawers and a cutting machine lol

and a set of drawers underneath with a box for the papers i was never going to buy :P i was only using digital me was never buying the real thing !!!!!

The question now is what on earth am i going to do when i outgrow this space !!!!!!!

LOL ok moving on Heres to a Happy and Crafty 2011 to everybody :)

WOYWW a Day Late LOL

I have not been able to get here since i started working on a tuesday and wednesday so when i saw linky was still open today i just had to come and join in :), Taking these pics made me think back to when i started earlier this year i was adamant it would not take over and would stay a small collection .. I mean come on who am i kidding addictive is so not in it lol since then i have purchased a chest of drawers to store things in and after swearing i would only use digi papers ( hmphhhh) i now have a growing collection of papers lol sooo ladies this is in less that 12 months and yes i can hear you all saying haha knew she wouldnt keep it small lol, pop over to the Stamping Ground to have a peek at everybody elses stash :) 

Okies i will stop yakking and let you all get on, i am going to try and get round some of your blogs now, Happy Christmas everybody and heres to a wonderful crafty new year :)

WOYWW July 21st

Wow its that time again where does the time go lol, its WOYWW day again pop on over and play along we would love to see your craft area, this week i had a clean up and re arranged myself its a nice cozy little area now not that it stops me making a mess mind lol, there were requests to see more of my puddy tat well here she is you think she likes my new area too ?? its all very well and good but when you want to work its not so easy lol

I thought i would also show you my other work area today, the computer area where i design my stamps and do other fun crafty things :) this takes up a corner in my living room, i can keep an eye on the kids this way too lol

AND you get Kitty again in her favorite spot ever, ok i will let you get on now see you all next week :)

WOYWW July 14th

I missed last week as i was decorating my sons room while he was away, but here i am again this week with my craft area its not as messy as last time lol I am having to be good with it being in the kitchen i tend to spread out a bit and then cooking becomes a problem lol.

I have bought some drawers for paper covered some boxes for storage and found somthing to keep my cards in since last time, although i am not happy with the card storage and will have to look around for somthing different, What do you guys do to store your cards ??????

Ok thats me until next week i will try and get around more of you this week :)

WOYWW June 30th

I missed last week boo hoo but i'm here this week and that lovely tidy area is no longer nice and tidy !!! what can i say i try hard but this week has been mad roll on weekend i can collapse lol the pringles tubes are to make money boxes out of for christmas i made my daughter one and she loves it sooo thought i would make some more :)



Some onewanted to see in my drawers so here you go not that there is alot in there at the min mainly paper and bits and bobs

WOYWW June 16th

Whats on your Workdesk
Not a lot still lol i have gained things from last week as you all warned me i got scissors that cut patterned edges and some new embelishments AND i gained some more storage as you will see by the drawers under the worktop

AND (yes there is more lol)

My freinds work were clearing out and she brought me a bag of goodies (last pic) with some real rubber stamps oergh play time is a coming me thinks LOL

Ok kept it short as requested lol but before i go I was asked what size tim my pro markers were in last week the tin is a Large Cake tin from a set of three i had - hope that helps :)

WOYWW June 9th

Well for months i have been watching the posts at The Stamping Grounds Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday and been amazed at all the goodies you guys have, welll now that i have started dabbling myself i can play too hehe soooo

Whats on my Workdesk

Well not a lot lol but i have only been making cards for three weeks so i am sure it will grow as the weeks go on, my workdesk is my kitchen counter as thats the only space i have lol, as you can see its the basics my beloved Promarkers, my son says i have regressed to my childhood as everytime he walks in the room i am colouring LOL, the card is an Anniversary card my freind asked me to make for her just waiting to be finished up.



Here we have two cards i finished this week and some card sketches i printed out to give me some insperation alongside some digi papers i printed out to use ( i have my eye on a challenge over at Passion for Promarkers :)



and here is my megre storage cupboard (the condiments and other contents had to be squeezed in another one lol) papers and promarkers live at the top embelishments in the middle and my sticky bits and cards on the bottom, very organised at the min i wonder for how long LOL



and just look while i was typing this my NEW promarkers came i got the pastels, the classic christmas, a blender pen and a silver pen ooo more fun to come LOL well thats me for this week i will be back next week and head over to drool and your stash's :)

Adding a note

After all the comments about the Hammer I think i better explain LOL when i was making an Easel card i didnt have any brads to hold it up, so not to be beaten i painted a couple of drawing pins with glitter glue and stuck them through the ribbon ... once through i couldnt bend the pin part so i tried the plyers which took it so far but not far enough so here comes the hammer lol .... i used the hammer to flatten the pin at the back by tapping it on the worksurface and wallah two flat drawing pin brads :)
