Second May Inspiration from Susan R

Hi...Susan R here...

Today I am showing you another Quick Page Layout!

Dragons Lair has quite a few QP's available - all you have to do is use an editing software and a photo and you have a layout.

I have made a digital layout
with the QP Passionatly Paisley and Serif Craft Artist 2



The photograph I have added to this Quick Page is one of my grandparents when they were young taken in the fashion of the day:

A Third ATC from Susan R

Hi...Susan R here...as always, find more details on my blog

The background for this ATC uses the 'bleeding tissue' technique, matted on a scrap of black card. This is a very muted background.



I then added Dragons Lair Hoppy Takes Cover coloured with a variety of markers.
Finally I added some tiny butterfly brads.

Another ATC Inspiration from Susan R

Hi...Susan R here...as always, find more details on my blog

As today is my Dad's 90th Birthday I decided to make a Birthday ATC.


The background for this ATC uses the 'bleeding tissue' technique, matted on a scrap of brown card.


I then added Dragons Lair Happy Birthday Hiss coloured with a variety of markers.
This is the image to use in the March Facebook Challenge - there's still time to enter!

I cut a number of candles using a Sissix die and coloured the flames with Zig pens.

ATC Inspiration from Susan R



Hi...Susan R here...as always, find more details on my blog here
Today's make is for a pocket letter swap -  the theme is "Ripped and Torn"


I made 9 of these - red card then two layers of 'torn' DP from Dragons Lair Designs - then ripped paper from an old book, and finally torn out words printed on the computer.

I then put them in a pocket sleeve.


 I have sent off 8 - I now wait for the completed swap...

Second March Inspiration from Susan R

Today I am showing a Quick Page Layout!

I have used Green Grass Quick Page 2 and Serif Craft Artist 2. 
This only has a space for one photo, so I added a second frame from my Dragons Lair files and a few flowers.
The pictures are of my Mum, my Dad and me...

1st March Inspiration from Susan R - Mixed Media Calendar

Hi...Susan R here...

Today I am showing you the March page of my Mixed Media calendar!


What with one thing and another, I haven't made my usual Dragons Lair calendar 
so this is a page on my Mixed Media Calendar - I made the base at the beginning of last year - today I am showing you the two additions for March:

I made two ATCs using Dragons Lair images:



For the first one I used the Dragons Lair image March Winds, .

This Color Burst background has been my background of choice this month,
 so I decided to use it on my March Mixed Media calendar, matted on green card. 

I added the March dates with the two ATCs:

Fan Group Challenge

I have made a Poe inspired ATC. I printed the cat on a paper from
Artistic Impressions


I trimmed this to size and matted it onto a scrap of black card.


I then added ribbon and the skeleton.

September Dragons Lair Calendar

Hi...Susan R here...

 Today I am showing you the September page of my Dragons Lair calendar!

This year I decided to make my calendar with 6 rectangular white card blanks
stuck in a star shape.

You might remember July and August:



For September I have used elements and papers from Francheska.
  
I used Serif Craft Artist 2 to form a digital design.


I printed this out and added it to my calendar with a ribbon.
