Dragons Lair Designs Fan Group Coloring Contest

We had a happy, spooky, kooky, any kind of cat you wanted to make him for our Dragons Lair Designs Fan Group Coloring Contest!  We wanted to see how many ways he could be used other than and including Halloween!  If you join our Fan Group you can request the image for free as long as you make something with the image by the end of the month and put it in the photo album for it!

I used the Gentle Waves set that was a Showcase Sunday Freebie and goes with the Simple Man Elements and made a little window full of flowers and a butterfly that one of my teamies sent me...the perfect touch!  A little inky edges and all done!

Thanks to all of you for your continued support of Dragons Lair Designs during a time when several of our members are having life issues that have disrupted our schedule here but our fabulous Janette, who is also dealing with health issues, knows and allows us all time to deal with our health and family issues as life cannot be stopped from popping up!

I have used a paper and elements from Pretty in Pink

And by the way do look for the current Challenge Blog Challenge - Hearts a Flutter

Hi...Susan R here...

you will find a post announcing the February Monthly Fan Group Challenge!

Request the image...

Make something using this and add it to the album...

I have made a Poe inspired ATC. I printed the cat on a paper from
Artistic Impressions

I trimmed this to size and matted it onto a scrap of black card.

I then added ribbon and the skeleton.

Happy Crafting!

New Start for Spring at Dragons Lair Designs!

Yes, some of us are bundled up like snowmen and some are having summer but we can all agree at some point we will all be ready for a New Start for Spring at Dragons Lair Designs!  This month as our very creative Janette is taking some time to be her top notch self again, we will be using some of our favorites from the store that keep speaking to us long after a new collection comes out!  The Butterfly Collection came out when I was having family health issues and I only got a tiny bit of play with it.  What I did get to see was marvelous quotes and gorgeous butterflies galore!  So here is a tag, an element of the kit that come just as you see it here with quote and background butterflies ready to print and punch the whole and send away!  I veered off the path a little bit by printing the tag and a butterfly bubble, one of many in the kit! and two butterflies, again so many to choose from!  Fussy cut them and punched the whole and threaded some fibers through and it was all finished!

I hope you have lots of plans between now and actual spring and also hope you take the time to check out our Dragons Lair Designs Challenge "Hearts a Flutter" starting Friday the 3rd for a chance at a voucher to shop with!  Thanks for dropping by and come visit us often!
